YOUR 5-POINT REGISTRATION CHECK
01 - CHECK YOUR ROUTINE COUNT
Is everyone who should be competing registered?
Your season may have changed since you first reserved your Spotlight event - that's normal.
Now is the time to compare what you originally planned with what you're actually bringing.
Take a look through DCG and confirm:
✓ All routines are entered
✓ All dancers are attached to the correct routines
✓ Routine sizes and categories are accurate
✓ Competitive divisions are correct
✓ You haven't left behind a solo, duo/trio, group, line, or production
PLEDGED? YOUR ROUTINE COUNT MATTERS.
Your estimate helped us plan. Now it’s time to confirm.
If your studio participated in the 2027 Diamond Pledge Program, your estimated routine count was part of that early commitment.
We know seasons evolve. Your final count doesn't have to be identical to your original estimate.
However, Diamond Pledge studios should remain within approximately 10% of their estimated routine count. A significant reduction beyond that threshold may result in the loss of your Royalty Rewards loyalty discount.

02 - TAKE ONE LAST LOOK AT YOUR DANCERS’ OPPORTUNITIES
Before you finalize, make sure you haven't missed something your dancers wanted to experience.
SPOTLIGHT TITLE
Have dancers ready to take their solo experience one step further?
Review your eligible Future Gems and Elite Gems soloists and confirm the dancers who want to participate in Spotlight Title are registered.
TRIPLE CROWN
Have a strong group of Elite Gems soloists?
Take another look at your roster and see whether you have a combination that could represent your studio in Triple Crown.
STUDIO ACHIEVEMENT
What about your duos/trios, groups, and lines?
Review your eligible Elite Gems routines for Studio Achievement combinations.
Spotlight's existing rules treat Triple Crown and Studio Achievement as optional registrations with an additional fee. We'll want the final 2027 rules to supply the exact eligibility language on the published page.
03 - KNOW YOUR DISCOUNT DATE
Your Discount Date is the first payment deadline for your Spotlight event.
For eligible Diamond Pledge studios, paying your balance in full by the Discount Date preserves both:
YOUR SAVINGS RATE
15% registration savings
and
YOUR ROYALTY REWARDS
Your additional Spotlight loyalty savings
Royalty Rewards are available to eligible Diamond Pledge participants and are based on consecutive years of participation.
WHAT IF I MISS THE DISCOUNT DATE?
If an eligible Diamond Pledge studio misses the Discount Date, the event reservation remains secure.
The studio forfeits its Royalty Rewards loyalty discount, but it may still retain the 15% Savings Rate by paying in full by the event's Closing Date.
04 - REVIEW YOUR BALANCE
Make sure your registration and payment plan match.
Log in to DCG and take a look at your current registration balance.
Before making your final payment, confirm that the registration you're paying for accurately reflects the dancers and routines you're bringing.
For 2027, the Savings Rate is a 15% discounted registration rate available to qualifying studios through Diamond Pledge or Rate Protection, provided program requirements and payment deadlines are met. Royalty Rewards is separate and available only to eligible Diamond Pledge participants.

You're covered, too.
If your studio registered through the 2027 Rate Protection Program, you can qualify for the 15% Savings Rate by meeting the program requirements and paying your balance in full by the Closing Date.
Rate Protection does not include Royalty Rewards.
